Starting this year, ParkYourBike will be used as a booking system at selected bicycle parking facilities in Brandenburg. As part of the “Modular Bicycle Parking” pilot project, the VBB (Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg) is cooperating with ParkYourBike to offer flexible and reliable secured parking facilities across the state.

The cooperation between ParkYourBike and the VBB (Berlin-Brandenburg Transport Association) is another important contribution to the mobility transition. ParkYourBike users will soon be able to park securely in Brandenburg and leave their bikes at central public transport stations. This includes 14 selected model projects in 13 municipalities in Brandenburg in which bicycle parking facilities in modular wooden construction with secure and free parking slots are being implemented:

  • Angermünde station: 68 secured parking slots as well as 72 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Bad Belzig station: 58 secured parking slots and 4 special parking slots
  • Blankenfelde station: 88 secured parking slots as well as 156 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Dahlewitz station: 44 secured parking slots and 28 free parking slots
  • Cottbus main station: 88 secured parking slots, 96 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Falkensee station: approx. 120 bike boxes
  • Hoppegarten station: 132 secure parking slots and 132 free parking slots
  • Neuenhagen station: 88 secure parking slots and 132 free parking slots
  • Potsdam main station: 88 secure parking slots, 112 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Sachsenhausen station: 44 secured parking slots
  • Waßmannsdorf station: 88 secured parking slots, 84 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Werder station: 176 secured parking spaces, 192 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots
  • Wustermark station: 77 secured parking slots, 96 free parking slots and 6 special parking slots

The figures shown are current planning figures; the special parking slots are planned for cargo bikes or bike trailers. In addition, further facilities outside of the pilot project in Brandenburg will be available for use via ParkYourBike in the future.
